DEMO AND STYLE
ABOUT STYLE
I am a San Diego Videographer with eleven years of experience shooting and editing events. I offer a complete set of skills for your production needs.
I have a unique style when it comes to shooting and editing weddings. Whereas most Videographers seem to embrace a monotone type of storytelling, I prefer to invoke a more modern and exciting feel. I believe that every scene interconnects with each aspect of the video. This means that there is a tight integration between the movement of the camera and the music. When you watch my demo's, you will see that my videos are different than the typical Videographers. I like to interject excitement to an already exciting day. This includes fast edits and using music that matches the style of the couple.
EXPERIENCE
Choosing the right Videographer with the right equipment is important to your final production. I offer productions in both Standard-Definition and High-Definition formats.
When it comes to using the camera, I am a active manual control operator. I do not rely on the camera's auto features to choose my shots. I prefer setting my own white balance, exposure, gain and audio. My belief is that perhaps a less experienced Videographer relies on the camera to make their choices for them.
My experience with shooting comes from first being a video editor before I was a camera operator.
Years ago, I worked for an amazing company that knew what shots to capture and how to make the camera move gracefully thorough a scene. It is this type of movement that creates a dynamic video. Because I was an editor before I was a camera operator I developed an ability to edit in my head while I am shooting. This means that I intimately know what details I need to make a complete edit. This is why my video's have details that you will not see from other camera operators and production companies.
Most other Videographers are different in that they shoot and hope that they can put something together later. I shoot and know exactly how the video will look before I even capture the footage into the computer.
